Mexico

Overview

BCM Mexico was started in 1975 by BCM missionaries Manuel and Lidia Dominguez in the state of Chiapas in the southeast of the country. The ministry began with a small church and Bible clubs.

Now 43 years later, BCM Mexico has five missionaries, two churches, and two new missions efforts on the outskirts of the city, one in a rural area called El Limón and the other in a neighborhood called Nuevo Paraiso. There are three Bible clubs around the city of Ocosingo and four Bible clubs in communities in the countryside. Camp ministry is used to reach children and youth. Training for leaders to work with children is also offered. Last year, a prison ministry was started through which 14 people gave their lives to Jesus.
