His knowledge of the Scriptures, Bible History and Archaeology, plus his practical insight will make our touring come alive. His instruction will be complimented by the observations provided by our Israeli guide Eitan sharing a cultural perspective. Others will be sharing devotional thoughts along the way. Joyful singing, great fellowship and personal interaction will enhance our time together. Plan on being a part of this tour. Make your reservation now! We will be available to assist you in every way possible before we depart and throughout the tour.

We leave from Newark, New Jersey on United Airlines in the afternoon to begin our exciting trip to the Land of the Bible.
We arrive in Tel Aviv, Israel the next morning to be met by our guide Eitan and our bus driver. We will visit the ancient city of Joppa (Jaffa) and then travel along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea stopping at the seaport of Caesarea where the Apostle Paul was imprisoned, visit an ancient Roman amphitheater and hippodrome from the time of Christ. Then we will travel to our hotel for dinner and overnight by the Sea of Galilee.
“Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” Matthew 4:23 Few locations are mentioned more often in the New Testament than Galilee – a lush mountainous region surrounding the Sea of Galilee, the geographic center of the life and ministry of Jesus. We start the day in Nazareth, where the Angel appeared to Mary announcing that she would be the mother of Jesus visiting “Nazareth Village” to see what life was like in the time of Jesus. From here we will travel a short distance to Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle changing water to wine. Across the Jezreel Valley is Megiddo and Mount Carmel. We will visit the village of Nain where Jesus raised the widow’s son from the dead.
Today we travel to Northern Galilee to visit the ruins of the City of Dan, the capital of the Tribe of Dan, hike along the headwaters of the Jordan River, visit Caesarea Philippi and discuss Peter’s great Confession, look into Syria from the Golan Heights, view Mount Hermon and the ancient city of Hazor. We will visit the ruins at Bethsaida, where Jesus gave sight to a blind man and one of the cities Jesus cursed. We will end the day at Gergesa where the demon possessed man was set free and the swine ran into the sea. We will enjoy this evening at a hotel in Nazareth.
Today we board our boat for a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We disembark at Kibbutz Ginossar where we will view the “Jesus Boat” of 2000 years ago. Capernaum, on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, was Jesus’ adopted hometown and the home of Peter, James and John. We will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the traditional site for the feeding of the 5,000, Magdala, the home of Mary Magdalene and Mount Arbela with it’s extraordinary view of the Galilee region.
We leave the Galilee and travel South along the Jordan River stopping first at Yardenit, a possible site for the Baptism of Jesus. From there we journey to Beth Shean, one of the cities of the Decapolis where you will see a beautiful image of a Roman city. This is the place where the bodies of King Saul and his sons were fastened to the city wall by the Philistines. From here we travel to the Jordan Valley along the Jordan River to the City of Jericho, considered the oldest city in the world. Because we want to have time to “swim” in the Dead Sea, we will continue our journey to the beautiful Isrotel Dead Sea Hotel, 1,200 feet below sea level. You will be talking about this experience for a long time!
Today we will ascend by cable car to the top of “Masada”, one of King Herod’s magnificent fortresses and the site where 960 Jewish Zealots took their stand against Rome. We will visit Ein Gedi where David hid from King Saul, Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, Jericho where the tax collector Zacchaeus met Jesus and repented. Nearby, is the wilderness mountain where Jesus experienced his temptation at the hands of Satan. We will endeavor to include a stop at the Inn of the Good Samaritan and Bethany, the home of Mary, Martha and their brother, Lazarus. The day will conclude with our “Triumphal Entry” into Jerusalem.
This morning we start at the Mount of Olives with a breathtaking view and introduction to the City of Jerusalem. We will walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane, then cross the Kidron Valley and enter the Old City through St. Stephen’s Gate, visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus cured an invalid man, continue to the Praetorium and view it’s ancient remains in the Fortress of Antonia, site of the public trial of Christ. We continue through the crowded market streets along the “Via Dolorosa” the path Jesus took to Calvary. In the afternoon, we will visit the Ancient City of David, Mount Zion, the Upper Room, the House of Caiaphas, remembering the final hours in the life of our Lord. The day ends at the Chapel of the Ascension on the top of the Mount of Olives.
We begin the day visiting the Temple Mount-Mount Moriah-to view the Mosque of Omar followed by a visit to the Western Wall, sometimes referred to as the wailing wall, a sacred site for the Jewish people. We will also visit the famous “Rabbi’s Tunnel”, running along the base of the Western Wall. Included will be a visit to the Southern steps, the archaeological reconstruction of the temple steps where Jesus walked so often. The afternoon will be free for you to do what you would like. You can visit the Old City, shop, walk on the Old City walls, tour Hezekiah’s Tunnel, visit the sidewalk cafes in West Jerusalem or just relax.
Today we will travel to the West Bank which is the ancient area of Samaria with a stop in Beth El (House of God) where Jacob had his vision of the ladder ascending to heaven and where Abraham pitched his tent at Shiloh, the spiritual, religious and political center of the Tribes of Israel. From Mount Gerizim we will overlook Shechem, present day Nablus, where Jesus had a conversation with the Samaritan Woman at the Well. Our journey will take us to Mount Scopus where we will get a beautiful panoramic view of the City of Jerusalem. Their will be much more to see in Jerusalem today and tomorrow. Perhaps today we will celebrate communion at the Garden Tomb!
We will check out of our hotel in the morning and drive past the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament Building on the way to the Model City of Ancient Jerusalem and the Israel Museum where you can delve into the mysteries of the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Shrine of the Book. An afternoon visit to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born will be followed by a visit to the town of Emmaus, then to the Bell Caves, Elah Fortress and Elah Valley where David killed Goliath followed by a special farewell dinner where we will share our experiences and impressions of our visit to Israel before we go to the airport and board our flight home.
Homeward bound. We say good bye to Israel and wing our way back home. All the way you will probably be saying, “I hope I can go again!”
