There the Jordan River bubbles out of the ground, coursing down the valley toward the Sea of Galilee. Around us were the ruins of the Temple of Pan and scattered stone remains of the city. I am happy to report that this last week end, Palm Sunday week end, BCM held a Bible Convention in Orissa and also dedicated three new churches. A decade ago everyone worried about the effects of Y2K on the “information age” and faulty computer programming. Banking was destined to fail, cars were going to grind to a stop, and we were all going to return to a stone-age existence. January 1st, 2000 dawned a new century with a day that was the same as every other day, and the year came and went with a singular lack of technological demise or end-of-the-world chaos. Nineteen BCM leaders from around Asia gathered together in one place to discuss BCM ministry in Asia and equip further ministry efforts.
