North America Conference 2009

Posted on: 01 Jul 2009 at 8:02 am

BCM’s North America Conference offers an opportunity for learning and fellowship, for worship and re-creation. This year, the Conference at Traber Center and Camp Sankanac starts with worship together Sunday evening, August 30 and runs until September 4.

Dr. David Dunbar, president of Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, PA, will be our Bible teacher at evening sessions Monday through Thursday. He’s a popular speaker and terrific teacher committed to preparing people for effective ministry in a variety of settings. These evening sessions will also feature special music, and the hymns and songs we love to sing. We’re inviting friends of BCM to join us at Traber Center for these evening meetings, and hope many will come!

And during the day? You can expect quality workshops, seminars, and presentations—like Kurt Jarvis’ “Bible story quilting,” Bob Evans’ report of international fields and President Marty Windle’s overview of BCM locally and globally. In addition, there will be time to relax, pray and interact together. Staff from Explorer Girls will care for younger children—and new this year is a special program for teens running during the Conference. Of course, the week’s meals (and snacks) have a well-deserved reputation, too!

You can register (by August 7) by sending in the form contacting .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to have one mailed. Make the North America Conference part of your summer plans!

May God’s peace continue to fill your hearts as you serve Him—
