I have finished the race, and I have been faithful. So a crown will be given to me for pleasing the Lord.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (CEV)

Paul wrote these verses to young Timothy as an encouragement to serve faithfully in the ministry where God had placed him. These words came to mind as we recently celebrated 22 years of faithfulness by a BCM staff person here at the IMC.

As you know, Mrs. Phyllis Ross retired from BCM in July. We celebrate her 22 years of ministry and thank her for a servant’s heart. On July 28th we held a retirement reception in recognition of her service here at the IMC. Phyllis has capably served in many capacities with BCM over the years, most notably as Administrative Assistant to the President for the last four BCM Presidents. The picture above was taken at the reception and includes Phyllis with former BCM presidents Dr. Bob Evans and Dr. Tom Koch, as well as current BCM president Rev. Marty Windle.

Phyllis, I would like say publicly that you have finished the race well, you have been faithful, and only the Lord can truly reward you for your pleasing service to Him here at BCM. I, as well as all of our BCM family, will miss you.

May God richly bless you in the next chapter of your life as you serve Him.

Blessings,

Rev. Marty Windle, President
